The little town of Hana, Maui is located down a narrow windy road, about 52 miles from Kahului.

The scenery along the way is breathtaking and well worth the nearly 3-hour drive.

Waterfalls along the way are what everybody goes to see. Try to find a place you can park to get some great pictures.

This is the only beach I found in Hana, with black sand, and an aging pier. The food prices were sky high, so you might want to pack a lunch in Kahului and bring it with you.
